Position Details:


Clinics Document Management Specialist


Full time (40 hrs/wk), 8-hour day shift.


Non-Exempt, Hourly, Union


Benefits apply the 1st of the month following hire.


Position Summary


This position is responsible for reviewing patient medical records and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness and extracting quality metrics and registries data.


Requirements


Education:


High school graduate or equivalent.


Licensure/Certification/Registration


Current CPR Certification required.


Experience


Previous Medical Records experience preferred.


Job Knowledge


Capable of performing duties as assigned. Familiarity or willingness to learn quality care goals and participate in meetings. Knowledge of release of information policies and procedures.


Skills


Ability to communicate well with the public. Able to work effectively with team members and use tact and discretion in dealing with varying job situations. Able to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in operating business office computer programs. Adheres to established hospital policies and procedures.


Summary


Employment Requirements:
