Job Description

Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist performs comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the adult oncology population in the outpatient clinics at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Clinical Pharmacist is key to identifying quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes, ensure adherence to hospital policies, and/or guidelines, and other clinical pharmacy initiatives. Work related activities may include drug selection, drug information, regimen creation, ordering, monitoring, toxicity management, formulary management, protocol and pathway development, outcome evaluations, and patient or staff education/counseling. This person will join a team of hematology/oncology clinical pharmacists at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
