Clinical Pharmacist - Downers Grove, Il

As a Clinical Pharmacist you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is a hybrid position with some days work from home and some days in the office in Downers Grove, IL. Monday - Friday 830am - 5pm Central time.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform telephonic outreach to improve health quality outcomes
• Provide responses to drug information requests
• Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Oversee pharmacy projects from inception to completion
• Optimize pharmacy therapy through additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
• Coach, provide feedback, and guide others

Required Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in state of IL
• 3+ years of patient consultation experience while working as a licensed pharmacist
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
• Ability to navigate MS Office and Windows-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharm D
• Bilingual skills (Spanish)
• Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
