Role: Associate Scientist I
Location: Abbott Park, IL - 60064-3500
Duration: 5 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM

We are hiring a Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform various laboratory tasks and assist in daily lab operations. Prior work experience is not required, but candidates must have a solid foundation in lab skills, with coursework or lab experience during their studies being acceptable.
Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses as directed.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
• Accurately record and analyze experimental data.
• Collaborate with the lab team and communicate effectively.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for laboratory tasks.
• Handle samples, reagents, and lab equipment.
• Assist in instrument and lab equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

• Adherence to lab safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Prior lab experience preferred (coursework or work experience).
• Familiarity with lab equipment and instruments.
• Basic understanding of lab techniques and procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (clinical lab sciences, biology, molecular biology, chemistry preferred).

Willingness to learn and perform instrument and lab maintenance
