Job Description

About the role

As a Clinical Education Manager, you will provide managerial leadership to the US clinical team through training and technical expertise on Creo Medical’s suite of Gastrointestinal (GI) devices for US-based new hires. You will also provide guidance on regular activities of the team, communication of company initiatives, as well as coordinate training events and activities for US physicians. Based in the US in a clinical specialist capacity, you will provide on-site clinical support to our customers through mentoring and clinical training/advice to ensure appropriate and optimal use of Creo products to meet individual patient needs. The role will require you to work in both Theatre and Endoscopy Suite settings. This role will be based across the US with regular travel to our office in Danbury, CT.


Key Responsibilities

· Manage and deliver training courses for physicians, nurses, as well as new Creo hires.

· Coordinate and communicate training events and activities to meet needs of US physicians.

· Coordinate and provide mentoring support via paired trainers/mentors with newly trained physicians.

· Manage training physician scheduling for training events; complete contractual invoices post-training events.

· Train new clinicians and support current users of Creo products in an assigned region.

· Support the delivery of product training to customers, effectively ‘coaching’ clinicians.

· Advise clinicians on the use of our equipment, being a ‘product leader’ and advocate of all Creo devices.

· Identify any further ongoing training needs for clinicians that are using our devices and deliver training where appropriate.

· Act as a trusted advisor and provide all phases product training support in endoscopy and OR/theatre settings.

· Follow-up on key equipment installations to ensure understanding and efficient usage.

· Monitor and track equipment usage.

· Support Leadership Team and Territory Managers drive utility of Speedboat and other current or future Creo products within existing accounts.

· Proactively educate the team on new technologies, procedures within the GI and OR space.

· Understand, speak to, and educate account staff and other Creo employees on disease states where Creo products are utilized.

· Support and provide guidance for US Clinical Team.

· Provide administrative approvals as needed for US Clinical Team.

· Work within the in-vivo and ex-vivo labs to drive Creo clinical pathway.


What We Are Looking For

· Relevant experience of working in medical or sales environment, as a nurse or other clinical support role.

· Experience of working in Operating Theatres or Endoscopy Suites.

· Experience of providing clinical training at various levels.

· An organized and methodical approach coupled with the ability to organize your own workload effectively and work with minimum supervision.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Strong communication skills.

· High level of attention to detail.

· Excellent people and presentation skills.

· Sense of urgency - make things happen/get results.

· Reliable.

· Problem solving skills (ability to act on your feet).

· Technically minded.

· Needs to be flexible regarding all aspects of your job role and give your full support to all new systems / ideas that are implemented within the company.

· To undertake any other duties which may be required, and which are consummate with the post’s position within the company.

· Able to travel domestically and internationally as and when required.

· Must be able to cover the geography of the assigned region.

· Must have unrestricted right to work in the US.


Education and Professional Qualifications Required

· Degree or experience in a nursing discipline or medical/healthcare field.

· Experience managing small or large team.
