Job Description

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Data Analyst to serve within the Clinical Systems Analytical & Reporting (CSAR)-Analytics function. The position's primary focus will be to advance analytical reporting and services specifically supporting End-to-End Clinical Trial Execution (E2E CTE) across Global Development Operations. These initiatives will focus on advancing the capabilities of a Site Intelligence Center as well as creating new reporting capabilities to provide business intelligence related to Site Engagement Leads (SELs) interactions with Key Target Sites.


The role will also be involved in direct collaboration with business process owners and other subject matter experts to foster business process expertise to provide insightful business intelligence to drive forward decision-making and monitor expected performance.


Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: 100 % Remote (Candidates in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, and Texas)


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Successfully partner with cross-functional team members, by guiding discussions on optimized methods for data collection, standardization, governance, and reporting to develop innovative, analytical solutions.
  • Provide insights, business intelligence, and management analytics for effective decision making in alignment with Global Networks and Continuous Improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owner (BPO) contacts to champion reporting needs that align to business practices and seek opportunities to lead change.
  • Perform quality oversight including quality gate controls and work with external resources to manage the creation and execution of user acceptance tests.
  • Streamline efficient and effective methods for business process automation.
  • Prioritize business needs and manage expectations for results and exude visibility to development plans.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of vendor services, including delivery of analytical reports and solutions, while ensuring quality and timeliness of vendor product delivery.
  • Grow knowledge of how business processes, systems, and reports work together to support business decisions.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of clinical trial data management / site management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in life science, computer science, engineering, business, or related discipline
  • Understanding of the Clinical Development life cycle and/or Clinical Development Operations processes/ procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of data visualization tools such as Spotfire or Tableau
  • Documented US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
  • 4+ years of experience working in data analytics including developing data visualization tools.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and ability to create meaningful insights from multiple data sources.
  • Project management and technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent documentation and communication skills
