Position Highlights:
- Work location: Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
- Salary range is based on relevant years of experience.
- Work environment: Our Maternity Unit is a 22 bed Labor, Delivery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with a staffed well-baby nursery, providing comprehensive care at all stages of pregnancy and birth. Our cohesive team works closely with our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which provides care to not only the neonate, but also the post-partum mom, keeping families together. As a Nursing Assistant in Maternity, you will be surrounded by a robust team, which includes Registered Nurses, OR Techs, and Lactation.
Shift Hours:
Ideal candidates can work 24 hours or more per week (0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE). Shifts will be straight overnights and will include a weekend rotation.
Opportunity to work both 8-hour and/or 12-hour shifts.
:
Responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Coordinates and processes department patient information; performs secretarial tasks, and maintains organized work flow of department. Functions as department receptionist, and responds to customer inquires or customer is referred to appropriate person(s).
Qualifications:
Listed on State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
High school diploma and health care business courses preferred, or demonstrates necessary skills to fulfill job duty/responsibilities is required.
Previous customer service and medical office/health care experience preferred, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with computer/keyboarding skills required.
