Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position is accountable and responsible for planning and providing comprehensive outpatient care to patients/families being cared by for the Medical Oncology Gynecological/Surgical physicians of the Cancer Institute.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year current Surgical Nursing experience, preferably gynecological in an acute care facility
• Nursing degree/diploma
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN certification) within 3 years of hire
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in an Oncology setting
• Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
