Client Executive Role:

A Client Executive at Rethink will manage our most strategic customers. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Client Executive manages, orchestrates, and leads our overall engagement strategy – working to ensure clients are fully satisfied, engaged with our products and solutions, ensuring clients identify value with our solutions, and working closely with clients to understand current and future needs.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Understands customer drivers of healthcare broadly and mental wellbeing / mental health specifically. Manages the customer relationship fully, introducing new opportunities and orchestrates internal teams to meet and exceed the customer's goals. Ensure line-of-business wins are captured (e.g., testimonials) for referencing.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with HR executives and business leaders / decision makers at prominent levels of the customer's organization to establish alignment on mutual goals and trust in future interactions.
  • Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer's industry and priorities for each assigned account, identifies opportunities to introduce Rethink solutions based on customer's strategies and goals. Presents solutions/ideas based on customer insights.
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Has overall responsibility for the retention and growth of our strategic clients. Will provide overall strategic oversight of the client engagement, management, and success. Reinforces the Rethink brand, story, and value proposition to clients.
  • Seeks to deepen relationships with customers during interactions by being customer-focused and consistently honoring commitments and connecting the customer to Rethink executives and leadership.

Account Management:

  • Anticipates moves within assigned accounts, as well as potential problems and ways to mitigate risks. Determines prioritization of action for multiple assigned accounts based on customer needs, sales-generating importance, growth opportunities, and account risks, all while maintaining a prominent level of commitment and accountability for assigned accounts. Consults and coordinates with the account management team to make necessary adjustments, determine what actions to tackle first, and re-adjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing demands.
  • Lead recurring client performance meetings to highlight overall value Rethink provides to our strategic clients. Seeks to grow sales and partner impact to develop and promote broader engagement strategies across the Rethink platform of solutions.
  • Ensures the entire lifecycle of a client is exceeding their expectations – from onboarding of the client to strategic engagement to ongoing and expanding services provided. Actively engaged with resolving client issues. Conveying strategic goals of clients to inform future product roadmap.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning to review and plan for accounts. Set priorities, focus, and resources and strengthens operations, ensuring that the extended virtual team and other stakeholders are working toward common goals.
  • Develops and oversees the execution of account plans for multiple accounts to ensure Rethink revenue targets and customer business needs are met. Drives accountability to deliver on account plans among the extended virtual teams and internal industry experts. Leads extended team and embraces partners to scale business by understanding partner goals and creating an interested in mutual business growth. Ensures sales consumption and adoption goals on target.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of mental wellbeing market, needs, and challenges.
  • Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of healthcare/mindfulness landscape, solutions, and strategy of assigned accounts, as well as of the business priorities and potential threats the customers face. Coordinates with internal experts to gather industry data of assigned accounts and improve planning. Demonstrates a strong understanding of the customers' business strategy and the direction of the industry.
Professional Skills and Experience:
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Experience quantifying business objectives, educating customers on performance and evangelizing results to achieve customer renewal and expansion.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Consulting, or similar client-facing functions
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with B2B2C enterprise customer teams at all levels
  • 5+ years managing a book of business within Customer Success, Sales with responsibility for renewal, forecasting and customer expansion.
  • Strong analytics capabilities - building, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to present ROI
  • C-Level experience (such as CHRO, CFO or other executive leadership in HR, Benefits, and strategic leadership) building relationships and driving value in B2B environments.
  • Client facing experience within a SaaS software company is required
  • Proven experience in partnering with internal sales teams.
