Job Description
Immediate opening! Callisons is an established, family-owned company which operates with an emphasis on a safe, team environment.
Part-time day shift, with a weekly commitment of at least 24 hours per week (Mon - Fri) in our Lacey facility.
OR
Full-time day shift, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), working in both our Lacey and Chehalis facilities.
An ideal candidate will utilize excellent decision-making, communication skills and will thrive in a dynamic work environment, following established technical procedures and processes.

The Cleaning Technician will perform routine checks and cleaning of equipment, vehicles, and facility following established procedures/standards.
Essential Functions
  • Clean and sanitize machines and machine parts used in the production of food using chemicals, high pressure spraying and scrubbing.
  • Work safely with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Check for the correct chemical concentration using titration kits.
  • Read, understand, and follow cleaning practices/safety procedures related to the use of hazardous chemicals (SDS).
  • Execute sanitation schedule consisting of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual, and Annual tasks.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • Perform limited grounds maintenance such as sweeping and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
  • Operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Perform or assist in minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
  • Remove trash, recycling and general clean up around facility
  • Maintain a neat and orderly supply room; ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
Required Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Knowledge and prior use of commercial cleaning equipment.
Preferred Education And Experience
  • Experience working in BRC certified environment.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Occasional scheduled weekend and after normal working hours work for emergencies.
Work Authorization/security Clearance Requirements
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
  • Completion of satisfactory background check
