Classroom/Kitchen Aide (Multiple Locations)

Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Classroom/Kitchen Aide for our Head Star & ECEAP classrooms. This is a full-time position in Multiple locations. As a Classroom/Kitchen Aide), you will work under close supervision of education staff to assist in conducting the activities of an early childhood program, implements trauma invested practices that support social-emotional learning and self-regulation in the classroom and be able to provide a safe environment that includes active supervision of all children under their care. This position will also be responsible for food preparation and kitchen duties (including shopping), housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance duties required.
A Classroom/Kitchen Aide will need poses the ability to interact with young children in a supportive, positive manner, demonstrated positive communication skills with children and adults, basic understanding of young children, supervise children during the bus route and use a positive approach in directing and guiding children.
May also be required to fulfill the role of Bus Monitor in some locations.

The hiring range for this role is \$18.06-\$19.53 per hour. The full salary range of \$18.06-\$30.07 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase. As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA.
