Job Description

Hi-Tech Express Inc., a member of Siemens Transportation Group, is an international business made up of 7 companies and nearly 60 years of experience. Hi-Tech is a truckload carrier providing domestic services within the US and international services between Canada and the US. The Company stands behind our reputation of consistent and efficient service that our customers across North America have come to rely on.

These are very exciting times for the Company with new business opportunities in addition to an existing fortune 500-customer base. Hi-Tech Express requires a Night Shift Truck Driver at their Minneapolis, MN location.

This position runs on a schedule (3 nights on, 2 days off, 2 nights on 3 days off)

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
  • Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure 100% compliance with safety
  • Perform all other duties as requested
  • Professional communication with customers
  • Handle freight and freight documents

Qualifications

  • Ability to drive all terrains
  • Experience hauling general freight
  • CDL drivers license with minimum 2 years driving experience with a clean driving record
