Job Description
Lauth Investigations International, Inc. is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, with offices located throughout the United States. We are driven by our passion for recovering unclaimed property or assets through diverse disciplines of private intelligence and the dedication of a qualified team of claim researchers.


This position is part of the Return Assets Division in Boulder, CO, which was established to help provide the resources and technology that asset owners need in order to secure assets that are rightfully theirs. This team was created on the simple principle that: property owners, families, and heirs of unrecovered assets rightfully deserve their property.


Summary of Duties:


As the Claims Manager, you will work to advance the goals of the Return Assets Division through improving key quality measures in processing, closing, communications, and developing systems to maximize efficiency of the claim process. This position is 100% remote


Primary Job Responsibilities:


  • Ad-hoc projects.
  • Provide high-level comprehensive claim management services by developing, planning, assessing, monitoring, and managing processes and cases.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all appropriate claim documentation.
  • Educate staff on claim requirements by determining the correct approach for each claim to assist in the recovery of assets.
  • Manage and oversee all claim support staff.
  • Maintain and monitor the claims process within the division.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Maintain and oversee document control for accuracy.
  • Liaise with other divisions to handle internal and external issues related to claims.
  • Evaluate processes and implement changes as required.


What we are looking for: 


  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple caseloads without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to Boulder, CO for 1 week each month during the first 6 months of employment.
  • A leader of people and process-development guru.
  • An independent and disciplined self-starter with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Must have prior experience with using a CRM software.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Office 365 Suite (with an emphasis on Excel and Word).
  • Exceptional time-management skills.


Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years relevant industry work experience.
  • 5+ years prior experience in managing staff, projects and deadlines.


Compensation:


Annual salary starting at $70,000 depending on experience.
