Civil Engineer Jobs

The position provides civil engineering and design services to all activities and tenants for a broad range of facilities, served by Naval Facilities Engineering Command, in a Regional Office. This includes a large number of customer activities with varied missions, dispersed over a sizable geographical region with numerous facility types, ranging from administrative and housing facilities to very complex industrial and operational facilities.

Under supervision the employee provides timely and professional civil engineering products, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including minor works projects, specific projects, special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site development and roadways design. Employee shall provide design of site grading, pavement, access, roadways and site infrastructure for new and existing sites.
• Utility infrastructure design. Provide design of sewer, water and storm drain infrastructure and distribution. Prepare all studies and calculations utilizing third party software to support sizing of utilities.

Must have experience in:

• ACAD/Civil 3D

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
