The Sunshine House is seeking a Childcare Director for our award-winning NC 5-Star school in South Charlotte / Pineville area.

About The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy:

We help children build a solid educational and social foundation -- with all the fun of childhood mixed in! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states. Our schools exude a comforting, family feeling, and are led by passionate, supportive early childhood professionals!!
Salary range: $50,000-$55,000 per year, based on experience, education and credentials. Quarterly bonus potential.

Daycare Director Responsibilities:

• Hire, engage, and develop a supportive team of caregivers and educators.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and the community.
• Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.
• Manage daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.

Requirements

• Previous management experience at a NC licensed childcare center.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Level III Administrator qualified.
• Extensive knowledge of childcare management and early education.
