About The Opportunity

Our client is an easy-to-remember telephone number that connects callers to information about critical health and human services available in their community. It serves as a resource for finding government benefits and services, nonprofit organizations, support groups, volunteer opportunities, donation programs, and other local resources.

This role is responsible for supporting eligible families in finding and obtaining affordable child care as well as locating additional local support services.

Responsibilities Include

• Add eligible families to the Statewide Centralized Subsidy Wait List
• Provide correct information on local Child Care Programs and Providers
• Complete online call reports via iCarol (the client's database) accurately.
• Determine a family’s eligibility for child care financial assistance/subsidy.

Qualifications

• Prior Call Center experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1-year work experience specifically in information
• AIRS Certification is also appreciated but not required
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese , Haitian Creole)
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, databases, and other software systems
