Child And Adolescent Case Management Supervisor

Under the supervision of the Child and Family Services Supervisor, provides program leadership and staff supervision; coordinates program activities and distribution of duties; oversees compliance with regulations; provides direct case management services to individuals; compiles program reports; monitors program effectiveness in terms of service provision and fiscal accountability; participates in community meetings as applicable, serves as backup to program staff, provides education, support and consultations to families, care givers, other agencies and the community regarding behavioral health issues related to school based case management.

Knowledge Of

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• IEP process
• Community integration techniques and basic living skills for individuals with co-occurring disorders. Basic knowledge of linking individuals to community resources.
• Same Day ACCESS procedures and documentation including VASAP, Probation/Parole, and Child assessment
• Behavior Management and crisis intervention strategies
• Medicaid and DBHDS licensure regulations
• Human growth and development, recovery principles, practices, and techniques of psychosocial rehabilitation, crisis intervention, case management, and behavioral health (mental health, substance use disorders, and intellectual disabilities).
• Diagnostic criteria in the DSM-V

Skill Of

• Report writing, budget planning, review and analysis.
• Assisting, coordinating, and supervising others.
• Effective communication, written, and verbal skills to include developing and maintaining cooperative and effective work relationships.

• Accurately complete all record release requirements as required by AHCS policy within designated time frame

Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Services field (required)

Experience: Minimum of five years clinical management experience

Licensure/Certifications: Meet the criteria for Qualified Mental Health Provider
