Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a leadership position responsible for planning, leading, directing, and achieving all business and operational results associated with functional areas as assigned. The COO is to ensure all health center operations meet community needs and that all services are delivered in an efficient, productive, compliant, and effective manner.


Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, business, healthcare administration or related field of
  • Demonstrated success in establishing relationships with community leaders, key resources, accreditation and regulatory entities, and related resources.
  • Minimize risk and exposures to the organization by monitoring trends, managing issues, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with all clinical protocols and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success in the selecting and developing, in motivating and directing, high performing
  • Ensure all health center operations and services stay focused on meeting community needs, while meeting both short term and long-term goals of the organization.
  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and directing an integrated, community healthcare facility of similar size and scope. Federally Qualified Health Center experience would be highly valued.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff to maximize efficiency and to achieve organizational goals.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Normal accessibility and mobility throughout the region
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trends and issues, laws, and regulations related to the delivery of ambulatory and behavioral health care services.
  • Demonstrated success with planning, analysis, and implementation of decisions affecting new business growth and development.
  • Oversees and coordinates the health center's risk management activities
