Monarch E&S, a division of SPG Insurance Solutions (Monarch) is a rapidly growing, and successful property and casualty insurance wholesaler and managing general agency based in Burbank, CA with branches in MA, FL, & VA. We sell exclusively to retail agencies across the country with a focus on small to mid-market E&S commercial and specialty personal lines risks.
- Coordinate with branch operation leaders and managers efforts to continually ensure quality service is provided to our clients on a timely and consistent basis.
- Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
- Develop emerging leadership by coaching and mentoring operational leaders and assisting them with their day-to-day operational duties and interactions with their team members.
- Work with the leadership team and staff to develop and implement next generation business process and work flows to improve efficiency and customer service.
- Coordinate the integration of newly acquired organizations.
- Oversee training and education initiatives for service staff to ensure technical knowledge and skills are consistent with job requirements, utilizing and requesting resources as needed.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal Brokers, Underwriters, and other key staff.
- Act as project lead to coordinate and implement corporate project initiatives.
- Serve as liaison between branch operational leaders and the Executive Management Team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital “end to end” client service and agency management solution.
- Oversee facilities, carrier contract management, compliance and other operational and administrative functions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of wholesale brokerage and MGA operations preferred.
- E&S/Surplus Lines experience, preferred.
- Minimum of five years supervision experience required.
- Five to ten years of P&C operations experience required.
- Must be able to travel by air and vehicle across the country (Travel 25%).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to persuade others.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills including the ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Strong computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of agency management platforms.
- Ability to manage complex tasks, provide analysis, and monitor quality metrics.
- Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with risk management controls.
