- Develop and mentor employees to ensure a high-performing and engaged team.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on succession planning and leadership development.
- Manage the execution of delivering financial and operational results on a day-to-day, quarter-to-quarter basis.
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Ensure alignment with current company policies and goals, including those that the COO creates themselves, as well as those developed by the CEO and other executives.
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the business, overseeing Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations.
- Work collaboratively with the executive team to develop and implement key business strategies, plans, and policies.
- Act as a key liaison between the CEO and other executives, providing guidance and support on a range of operational, financial, and strategic issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, vendors, and investors. Identify and address organizational challenges and inefficiencies to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and develop new business opportunities.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
