Job Description


Job Title: Chief Operating Officer


Department: Administration


Status: Full Time


Job Summary


The Chief Operating Officer oversees daily operations of the company, designing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and mentor employees to ensure a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on succession planning and leadership development.
  • Manage the execution of delivering financial and operational results on a day-to-day, quarter-to-quarter basis.
  • Reports directly to the CEO
  • Ensure alignment with current company policies and goals, including those that the COO creates themselves, as well as those developed by the CEO and other executives.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the business, overseeing Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the executive team to develop and implement key business strategies, plans, and policies.
  • Act as a key liaison between the CEO and other executives, providing guidance and support on a range of operational, financial, and strategic issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, vendors, and investors. Identify and address organizational challenges and inefficiencies to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and develop new business opportunities.


Requirements


  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
