Join Sweetser is a newly created role as the Chief Growth Officer! Sweetser's Chief Growth Officer is responsible for overseeing the expansion of our organization. **RESPONSIBILITES:**


  • Takes the lead on the submission of significant grant proposals.
  • Monitors client, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to Presidents Council.
  • Directly responsible for increasing the number of clients and the geographic area served by Sweetser and the associated revenue acceleration.
  • Evaluates new business opportunities, including analyzing potential markets, assessing client needs, and performing a competitive analysis.
  • Leads, coordinates and provides strategic support to cross-functional teams in executing growth plans.
  • Develops and implements new services that meet the behavioral health needs of our community.
  • Manages the programs and budget for those services operating at a loss to deliver profitable or break-even performance.
  • Brainstorms with other members of Presidents Council to develop innovative solutions to problems.
  • In cooperation with the CEO, designs and implements strategic plans for Sweetser's future growth or restructuring.
  • Develops strategies to improve and measure employee productivity.
  • Builds a foundation for excellence through the use of cost-effective processes, metrics, and best practices.
  • Facilitates the development of an EHR that serves the needs of Sweetser staff and affiliates.
  • Executes plan for growth that includes goals, strategies, and tactics for increasing market share in existing markets and creating new ones.


Experience


  • Experience implementing strategic plans.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in a complex organization with a proven track record of success; not-for-profit healthcare experience highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of complex clinical requirements, regulations and competitive environment of the public and private pay market.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and overseeing delivery of effective evidenced-based clinical services to public and private pay market required.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in developing strong working relationships with third party payors in-network and out-of-network; managed care organizations, commercial insurers, employee assistance programs/unions, etc. required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with responsibility over behavioral health clinical departments.
  • Experienced in designing programs and services that are responsive to requests for proposal, grants, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience developing protocols and ensuring staff are proficient with articulating clinical justification for determining "medical necessity" for length of stay required.


Education


  • Graduate of an accredited school with a master's degree in behavioral or healthcare administration.
