The Opportunity
Assay analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process products and finished products using Analytical instruments such as: HPLC, UPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, ICP, CHN Analyzer and Wet Chemistry.
Participate in raw material and finished product testing using vacuum oven and microwave digestion for Loss on Drying. Karl Fisher for percent moisture. Furnace for Loss of Ignition. Brookfield Viscometer for viscosity, Electronic Tongue and Nose for sample evaluation.
Overseeing the collection and disposal of waste materials according to QA SOP regulation
Ensuring the safe storage of chemical materials.
Being responsible for the evacuation of the QA laboratories during emergencies.
Maintaining the MSDS inventory in the QA laboratories.
Responsible for the analysis of amino acids in raw materials and finished products by using Waters UPLC with Empower software II.
Assisting the QA Lab Supervisor in preparation and writing of SOP and the test methods of analytical testing in QA laboratories.
The Skills you will bring to the team
B.S. Sciences (Chemistry, Biology or related field)
M.S. Chemistry preferred
3-4 years of relevant food and beverage industry experience preferred
