Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of the company’s financials
• Develop processes and procedures to ensure effective controls and alignment with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Analyze historical performance along with external data to identify strengths and weaknesses of the company to continuously move the organization forward
• Responsible for managing the resources and overall financial governance of the corporation. Responsible for the reporting, planning, risk assessment, treasury duties, and compliance functions of the organization.
• Financial planning to assist the CEO to steer the company towards its business goals and long term vision
• Analyze, assess risk, and offer alternatives to challenge and participate in problem solving
• Hire, develop and coach personnel
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
• Manage treasury relationships and cash flow

Qualifications:

• Holds consistent vision with the CEO
• B.S., Accounting required. MBA and/or CPA a plus.
• Completely committed to the company’s mission and company goals - holds the same vision as the President or CEO
• Establishes loyalty to the Organization and stakeholders
• Possesses basic understanding of legal, business, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Understands the nuances of culture, people, and the organization; Truly respects and celebrates differences; Works to minimize politics within the workplace
• Is technically proficient
• Possesses uncompromising morals, ethics, and integrity
• Ability to anticipate and develop test scenarios and translate their impacts into financial results
• Develops and coaches highly competent team to support the company’s overall goals
• Is dynamic and abreast of our changing times and economy, politics, and the industry
• Understands finance and accounting as a business language
• Intimately understands the industry, the business, and every pulse of the organization and how each impacts the other segments of the business and company as a whole
• Establishes a trust relationship with the CEO, BOD and team members
• Possesses ability to create and drive strategy
• Enjoys building business Act as a consultant and advisor to colleagues on the lateral and be a business partner to the CEO and BOD.
• Cultivates and lives the ‘TEAM’ principle within the leadership and behind the CEO
• Cultivates relationships with third parties including vendors, suppliers, and banks.
