Job Title: Certified Yoga Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Yoga Therapist to join our team at Mom n Tot Spot, a mommy and me center designed to provide support and guidance to new mothers. As a yoga therapist, you will be responsible for running weekly classes for expecting mothers and new mothers, including yoga for birth preparation and mommy and me yoga classes.

Please note that our center will not be open for a couple of months.

Responsibilities:

• Providing individual yoga therapy sessions to clients as needed, addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, and postpartum depression.
• Developing and facilitating weekly yoga classes for expecting mothers and new mothers, incorporating mindfulness practices and relaxation techniques.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of yoga therapy.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, such as postpartum doulas and lactation consultants, to ensure the best care for both the mother and baby.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a passion for helping new mothers connect with their bodies and promote their well-being.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a yoga therapist, preferably working with pregnant and postpartum women.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to pregnancy and childbirth.
• Certification as a Yoga Therapist required.

Pay: $40.00 - $49.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Yoga: 2 years (Preferred)
• Yoga therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• IAYT Certification (Preferred)
