Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Position Description:
The individual accepting this assignment will provide psycho-motor development services to students under the supervision of an occupational therapist. In addition, the C.O.T.A. will:

• Review each student's service plan with the O.T. prior to implementation.
• Schedule and provide regular services to each identified student.
• Complete regularly scheduled written reports on each student assigned.Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience) 1. Must have completed C.O.T.A. program. 2. Must carry Occupational Therapy Assistant certification. 3. Experience with assistive technology preferred. 4. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. • Maintain a daily log of services and student performance for evaluation of plan and adjustments.

NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 8.0 HOURS PER DAY

NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR: 186 DAYS PER YEAR

RATE OF PAY: $24.03 - $33.82 PER HOUR (RANGE 17)

POSITION START DATE: 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
