Job Description
We Are Hiring:
  • Schedule: Variable
  • Location: Oshkosh, WI
  • Hospital: Mercy Hospital
  • Department: Float

What You Will Do:
Assist with patient care activities.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
  • Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Accommodate patient with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfer/transport.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Not required to maintain as the NURSAID does not expire for hospital settings.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
  • Current enrollment in High School and qualification in the Youth Apprenticeship program per School requirements is required.
Work Experience:
  • Experience in job related field preferred.
  • No experience required.
Additional Preferences:
Enrolled in CNA course
