Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide essential healthcare services to our patients. The CNA/CMA will work under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians to deliver high-quality care, assist with patient examinations, and perform administrative duties. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Monitoring and reporting any changes in the patient's condition or behavior
• Assisting patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Following all safety and infection control protocols
• Administering medications and treatments as directed
• Collecting and labeling specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and treatment areas
• Assisting healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
• Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate
• Ensuring patient comfort by assisting with positioning and ambulation
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assisting with patient transportation within the facility
• Documenting patient information, such as medical history and care provided

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work well within a team and follow directions from supervisors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical recordkeeping
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA or CMA training program
• CPR certification (preferably)
• Current certification as a CNA or CMA
