Job Description
ORM Fertility is an internationally recognized fertility clinic comprised of five physicians sub-specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology, full-time genetic counselors, cutting-edge Embryologists and a team of very talented clinicians and administrators seeking a full-time Fertility Coordinator to join our team.
Summary
We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist that will sit out of our Bellevue clinic. This will be a full time, full-benefits, 40 hours a week position. Must be available Monday- Friday 7:30am-3:30pm, with Sunday shifts required approximately every 3-4 weeks. Sunday shifts are generally 2-3 hours long, but longer hours may be required.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for both administrative tasks and medical assisting duties. Your main responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, assisting with medical procedures, and providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and multitasking skills, as well as a passion for delivering quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for minor procedures.
  • Complete and file patient forms and medical histories.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
  • Provide injection education and instruction.
  • Practice phlebotomy.
  • Record vital signs and update patient medical information.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collect payments and maintain financial records.
  • Administer medications and injections under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Counsel patients by transmitting practitioner's orders.
  • Complete test requisitions and imaging orders.
  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Verify patient identification, label and handle blood samples accurately, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Schedule surgeries.
  • Complete diagnostic coding and procedure coding.
  • Perform basic medical procedures, such as administering injections and collecting specimens.
  • Provide medication education and instruction.
  • Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
  • Verify patient insurance information and process necessary documentation.
  • Ensure accurate patient flow and assist in patient care.
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Provide patient education and instructions for treatments and medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assist with medical records management and data entry.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical and surgical supplies.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program or related certification
  • Strong Phlebotomy skills
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
