Butts Foods is seeking an experienced Driver. This position will be responsible for driving a tractor trailer in order to deliver, load, and unload products for our customers. The incumbent will develop and maintain excellent customer relationships while working within the mandates of state and DOT regulations as well as Quirch Foods’ guidelines.

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus Available!

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections; including, but not limited to: ensuring that correct products are on the truck prior to departure, filling out any required paperwork, and collecting/submitting invoices (checks and/or cash) when required.
• Other duties as assigned
• Load and unload products for the customers
• Operate a CMV for the delivery of products in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
• Maintain all required certifications by DOT and company safety program
• Develop expertise of our products, inventory controls, and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English within the context of the job and safety requirements
• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or walk; as well as sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
• Meets or exceeds minimum requirements established by Quirch Foods and FMCSR
• Must be able to comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Card
