POSITION SUMMARY

Provide safe and efficient transportation of hazmatproducts,to include butnot limited to, LPG, ethanol, anhydrous ammonia, biofuels and/or refined fuels via tank truck. Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid hazmat products. Meet established transport productivity requirements. Demonstrate the ability to operate a hydraulic pump system in a safe manner. Utilize electronic dispatching software and electronic logging device. Digitally prepare run tickets, vehicle inspection records, and electronic driver logs in strict adherence with all Company and agency-required environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Maintain strict adherence to all company, Federal, State, City, local laws, regulations, and standards to include obtaining any state licensing, as necessary. Maintain flexibility to adapt to schedule changes including overnight stays, nights, and weekends.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Must have a current CDL license with hazardous materials endorsement, as per DOT regulations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to work expanded shifts, nights and/or weekends if required.
  • Willingness to have assigned days off during week.
  • Willingness to share assigned truck/trailer equipment with other drivers on a rotating schedule.
  • Hazmat transportation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with receiving dispatch electronically and electronic logging is preferred.
  • 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience is required, including driving a tractor trailer unit with a GVW of 80,000 lbs or above.

  • On time pickups, deliveries, and the safe transportation of LPG, ethanol, or other specified products asassigned.
  • Regularly communicate with management work progress, concerns, and questions.
  • Detail oriented-follow directions.
  • Maintaining a clean driving record per Federal, State and DOT regulations.
  • Maintaining and inspecting assigned tractor/trailer equipment for compliance with all DOT regulations.
  • Strict adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Customer service and professionalism are core priorities.
