Your Role With Us:

This supervisory position will be responsible for building and driving a dynamic catering program. Knowledge of hot and cold services, buffets, fine dining, operation and decor is required. This program will provide catering services for all hospital events ranging from small group coffee & snack services to large plated Gala style dinners. This is a position needing a creative and driven individual to drive success and continued growth.

Functions:

  • Supervision of all aspects of program
  • Hiring and scheduling staff
  • Setting expectations of service, trains to that expectation and verifies adherence
  • Working with chef(s) to design menus- both core and custom
  • Communication with clients, other supervisors, peers is professional
  • Coach and performance manage of staff
  • Manages equipment needed for various events- which may include décor, display-ware, linens, chaffing units, etc

Background/Expertise:

  • Current Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required - Bachelors in Hospitality/Food service Management preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of catering experience required. Ownership/elevated leadership preferred
