What is The Brews Hall?

The Brews Hall Torrance Beach is home to BUZZROCK Brewing Company, Chingon Brewing Company and a one-of-a-kind food hall featuring four different food concepts: George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen, Colin Cowherd’s Herd Burger, Chicken TWILI (The Way I like it) and Rock’N Fish Grill, a Manhattan Beach steak and fish house favorite. The Brews Hall features a full bar and 16 beers on draft.

Compensation:

Base hourly rate of $15.50 an hour plus tips! ($23-$25 an hour when you include the tips) | $200 / month towards medical insurance (Full time only) | Sick Pay | Free meal per shift | | Employee Assistance Program | Employee Referral Bonuses | Restaurant & Hotel Discounts |

What you will do…

• Help run food when needed
• Collect payment from guests, ring orders carefully, upcharges and closing tabs.
• Guests requesting a broader range of beer, liquor and wine are to be directed to the bar
• Wipe down counters and pos systems
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Effective communication with all FOH and BOH staff
• Knowledge of menu, beers, and cocktails
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Keep visible public areas clutter-free
• Make food recommendations and suggestions
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional.

This position is for you if you have…

• Ability to think quick on their feet and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Resourceful and organized with clean work habits & attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, self awareness, empathy, and positive attitude
• A flexible schedule, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Has a good sense of urgency
• At least 1 year of customer service/ retail experience
• Guest oriented with a high focus on delivering quality service
• Handle pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
