Who are we looking for:
We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding customer service.
Position Overview:
As an urner’s Cashier, you will be the face of our company, responsible for ensuring a seamless checkout process and providing excellent service to our valued customers. Your attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to handle transactions accurately will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers’ shopping journey.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide a positive first impression
• Maintain a clean and organized and well stocked checkout area
• Forward and transfer calls to the appropriate department
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross training in related positions
• Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions at the checkout counter.
• Promote a welcoming, professional, and friendly shopping environment
• Provide assistance with merchandise returns and exchanges, adhering to store policies.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist customers with questions about products, pricing, and promotions.
• Take detailed and accurate phone messages

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to assist customers and team members.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Pass criminal background check and hair follicle drug test
