One Love Cafeis a brand new, community focused meeting space that provides customers a home away from home. We are remodeling the old "Never Too Latte" cafe and providing the San Bruno and surrounding communities a beautiful aesthetic with delicious, fresh and healthy options in downtown San Bruno. Our menu consists of coffee, milk tea treats including boba, fresh fruit bowls and smoothies, along with delicious pastries and desserts such as Mitchell's Ice Cream. Our food menu includes breakfast, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads.

We will have community events, open mic nights and live music. We are looking for people to join the One Love Family, not just come to work. If you're interested in developing relationships and networking, this is the place to be!

One Love Cafe is woman and minority owned and operated. We are looking to create change in our community. Part time positions may grow to full time and career development is available. Profit sharing program available after one year of employment. We are willing to train and work with the right people. Our goal is to create a business model that can be replicated. Duties:

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
• Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• MUST LOVE PEOPLE - You MUST be customer focused and ready to serve your community. If you have that special personality, nothing else here matters.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Experience in the food industry or food service preferred but not necessary for the right candidate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards preferred

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
