Cashier - Foh Team Member

Hometown Harvest Kitchen is opening in Spring 2019 on beautiful Carrol Creek in Frederick, MD. We are excited to offer a fast casual style of dining, bringing farm to table food to a wider range of customers. Our focus on showcasing local farms and products is a main part of our mission. We are looking for dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team.

FOH positions are responsible for delivering superior guest service while processing transactions for payment, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house guest dining area, and patio. In addition, these positions are responsible for up-selling beverages and desserts and acting as a guide to our Guests as they navigate through the service line and dining areas.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Have menu knowledge and be able to input menu items into POS system upon sight.
• Greet guests with a friendly welcoming attitude.
• Enter orders into POS system and complete payment transaction accurately and efficiently.
• Suggestive sell beverages or dessert items.
• Demonstrate menu and product knowledge and utilize that knowledge to answer Guest questions.
• Keep service line clean and organized.
• Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned according to standard procedures.
• Count change accurately on cash transactions.
• Complete beverage orders and pour beverages.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Schedule is flexible. Part time and Full time. We are hiring for ALL SHIFTS.
