PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for assisting journeyman and foreman carpenters in the completion of their tasks while learning the trade.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevation
• Setup trailers
• Set Gang Wall Forms
• Structural Concrete Decks
• Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Drywall
• Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex's, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan
• Hand set Walls
• Millwork and cabinetry
• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
• Footings
• Concrete and rough carpentry
