Job Description
NeuroRestorative, a member of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.


NeuroRestorative Timber Ridge is looking for Direct Service Providers - Life Skills Trainers , to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals.


NeuroRestorative Timber Ridge serves children and adults who sustained a traumatic brain injury or a neurocognitive/neurobehavioral change.


Responsibilities


  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and room upkeep.
  • Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential, school, and community settings.
  • Provide supervision, support, and assistance on outings, medical appointments, personal shopping or other activities.
  • Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.


Qualifications:
  • A caring attitude with patience, a desire to learn, and a dedication to assisting others.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence.
  • Experience helpful, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Successful clearance of background checks.
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
