Cardiac Sonographer - Per-Diem

Join our team supporting Scripps Health as a Sonographer at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. Together, you’ll bring your expertise, compassion, and excellence to all we do. The ideal candidate enjoys both working independently and functioning as part of a team to deliver quality patient care for the complex cases our team sees every day.

The Sonographer is responsible for:

• Maintaining own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
• Providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
• Adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities.

This is a casual (per diem) position, 8-hour varied shift and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• 1-2 years’ experience
• Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
• RDCS or RCS

Position Pay Range: $53.21-$79.82/hour
