The Geneva Clinical Remote Care Coordinator ILR (Implantable Loop Recorder) will obtain the knowledge and skills required to analyze and process Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) transmissions through training courses including basic rhythm interpretation, CIED Remote Monitoring Course; learning all CIED types, manufacturer specific algorithms, manufacturer portals, and software used to manage and document findings.

You are responsible for

  • Meeting or exceeding all quality and productivity standards
  • Documenting findings clearly and concisely following company protocol on reporting requirements, standards, and format
  • Processing alert and scheduled transmissions with oversight
  • Providing basic analysis of arrhythmias on intracardiac electrograms, technical device data, test results and physiologic data
  • Analyzing and interpreting Implantable Loop Recorder transmission data using company software provided
  • Staying current on new products, solutions, and Implantable Loop Recorder management offerings
  • Escalating device abnormalities through company workflow process and requesting troubleshooting support as needed
  • Completing all assigned/required training, while staying up to date on developing clinical knowledge, specifically ECG rhythm interpretation
  • Following all company, HIPAA, and Medicare policy and procedures

Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) is part of the Philips Connected Care business cluster. Philips BioTelemetry is part of the AM&D business and provides remote cardiac monitoring services for more than one million patients per year. Philips acquired BioTelemetry in early 2021. The combination of Philips and BioTelemetry results in a global leader in patient care management solutions for the hospital and the home, a leading U.S.-based provider of remote cardiac diagnostics and monitoring.

Consists of members of the Geneva Clinical Remote Care Team and directly reports to the Geneva Clinical Supervisor.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • CRAT/CCT certification within 180 days of employment/transfer
  • 1+ years’ experience in a clinical setting involving ECG/EKG monitoring/telemetry, interpretation/analysis, and/or cardiac remote monitoring experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiac/cardiology (preferred)
  • Comfortable with a training schedule of Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm EST
  • Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); comfortable using telephone and computer to perform job responsibilities
  • Comfortable with a work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm EST
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
