Expected Work Schedule For The Athens Campus Minister

• Full- or part-time, flexible schedule
• Annual conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat
• Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific ministry needs

Pay Structure For An Athens Campus Minister

• Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners
• Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
• Pay range is typically between $24,960 and $72,800 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors

About the area and Responsibilities of an Athens Campus Minister

We are seeking an Athens Athens Campus Minister for our Ohio University (OU) location in Athens, OH. OU was established as Ohio's first university in 1804 and has had quite an influence. There are about 1,500 international students from 116 countries. These international students have an opportunity to become a leader in their field back in their home country.

The Athens Campus Minister Will (list Not All Inclusive)

• Recruit and disciple American and international Christians to serve on a campus ministry team
• Participate in discipleship with supervisor by meeting regularly to seek guidance and direction in ministry, and set goals and accountability
• Participate in IFI events and Bible studies, and share the Gospel with international students within the context of genuine friendship
• Study the cultural worldviews of the international students to whom you are ministering

Qualifications needed of an Athens Campus Minister, including Spiritual Characteristics

• Well organized, takes initiative, able to work independently or collaboratively
• Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
• Faithful in evangelism and hospitality to international students as well as discipling believers to do the same
• Proficient with technology necessary to the ministry, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Flexible and adaptable

Education/Experience Preferred For An Athens Campus Minister

• Minimum of one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
