About this position:
The Medical Assistant- Certified provides support to patients and co-workers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in different areas of the health center.
The pay range is from $18.16 to $25.83. Placement in the range is dependent on role, experience and location.
Scheduled days : Full time
A generous benefit package is also offered, including a a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) non-exempt position. If located in WA State it will be a nonexempt, union position.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Assists with optimizing patient flow to keep appointments on schedule.
  • Performing back-office responsibilities as required by the health center; rooms patients; stock rooms; phlebotomy, injections, labs, patient educations; assists NPs, RNs, and MDs.
  • Provides non-judgmental, client-centered care, and provides accurate information by answering questions and providing appropriate resources.
  • Establishes and prepares documents for patient records and patient services.
  • Provides patients and co-workers with excellent customer service in all interactions and tasks.

You’ll need to have:
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or two years of experience in an office or medical setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications; experience with electronic health records
