Job Description
  • Work with Accounting Team and Purchasing Assistant to resolve pricing, contract, payment and other commercial issues
  • Work Effectively in cross functional teams to support new product launches and model year change projects
  • Advise Shipping Coordinator on Status
  • Support Sales Dept in servicing the customer, by providing timely answers on Supplier delivery schedules
  • Work with the Shipping Coordinator to ship goods via Carrier
  • Tracks back orders and manages overstocks
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Facilitate on-going business relationships with suppliers using KPI and regular business meeting reviews, while focusing to ensure on-time delivery
  • Track expenses and cost changed and performing detailed cost analysis
  • Support Quality Department to resolve quality / commercial issues
  • Expedites orders
  • Release orders to suppliers on weekly basis
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Strong team work, customer service and organization skills
  • Strong financial management, leadership, team work, customer service and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced automotive industry and in purchasing of production and/or accessory parts
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • 3-5 years experience in supply chain management
  • Ability to utilize procurement tool applications and techniques
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Automotive Engineering background
