Position Description:

LeoStella is looking for a Supply Chain Buyer to procure all aspects of the company from flight hardware to office items. The primary goals of this position are to effectively support our supply chain team and production demand. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Your goal will be to support the LeoStella business growth and ensure on-time deliveries.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders and manage supplier deliveries from MRP system that sets manufacturing demand planning to support production
• Focal point for services contracts, IT, and office procurements
• Manages competitive bid and supplier selection process
• Owns supplier relationships and ensures products and services are delivered on-time
• Find sources and procure engineering development equipment based on purchase order requests
• Contribute to process improvement projects involving purchasing, and MRP/ERP systems

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems
• Must be a US Person
• Experience may be substituted for education
• Bachelor’s degree in, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or other similarly related fields
• Ability to effectively operate both independently and as a part of a team
• 2-5 years of experience in a buyer/procurement or planner role
• Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in purchasing aerospace related hardware
• Experience with trade compliance EAR/ITAR
• Experience with PLEX ERP and MRP system
• Experience with data visualization QuickSight, Power BI

Compensation & Benefits:

• 401(k) with up to 3% company match
• Your level/title, base salary, and bonus will be determined on a case by case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
• Employee Benefits include:
• Employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, short and long-term disability.
• Base salary is one part of your total rewards package - you may also be eligible for up to 10+% potential bonuses. Additional employee benefits are detailed below as well.
• Compensation range is $65K to 93K and 10% target bonus
• Paid parental leave - New parents are provided 2 additional weeks off beyond FMLA for rest and bonding time
• Paid Time Off and Flexible Schedule: You may accrue 4 weeks paid time off per year, in addition to 8 company holidays. You may also have the choice to take Flexible Friday off every other week.
