Job Description

Hirewell has been exclusively retained by a multifamily mortgage servicing company to search for a Senior Business Systems Analyst. This role to be held in the Indianapolis area will focus on delivering new, strategic business systems, defining data insights, and enabling existing applications within the multifamily lending space. The priorities for this role include effectively researching, defining, and communicating opportunity, scope, objectives, current state business process, requirements, and dependencies. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of business analysis or project management experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Operations, or equivalent educational experience.


Duties & Responsibilities


What we are looking for:

  • Involved with support activities for existing solutions, including regular business interactions and facilitating delivery of improvements and bug fixes as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications
  • Support solution delivery lifecycle including detailing features, collaborating with IT developers, vendors, implementation team, supporting testing efforts, facilitating business testing, and managing deployment efforts
  • When needed, provide training to end users and/or other IT personnel
  • Participate in the Change Management process for the applications
  • Review current documentation for the applications and update as appropriate
  • Support applications and their dependencies. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, administration, designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining simple to complex applications

Requirements

  • Good communication skills with any type of audience, internal (all levels)/external (to include vendors – Sales/Technology)
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in application support, professional services, and/or QA
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • MS Azure and other cloud experience preferred
  • Familiar with networking concepts
  • Familiar with Active Directory, Security Groups and Service Accounts
  • Experience translating business needs into system requirements and configurations
  • Understanding of Incident Management processes, including Root Cause Analysis processes and documentation
  • 4+ years of experience in IT
  • Good understanding of Problem Management processes
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • 3+ years’ experience working with MS-SQL or other databases

Other Requirements

  • Software development and/or implementation experience preferred
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and Project Management processes
  • Experience of Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience writing functional and/or technical requirements for software implementations
