Position Summary:

Incumbent provides routine informatics support for IS-Radiology. Incumbent provides support for the hardware and software environments necessary to ensure effective operations and gives guidance relative to new applications and technology initiatives.

Salary Range:
Hourly Rate Minimum $30.84 Midpoint $42.77 Maximum $54.69
Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of wireless network configurations and limitations related to a clinical environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal and/or external customers
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, WINS
Must carry a pager/phone and provide on-call support for IT related issues
General understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
Working knowledge of Thin client and other terminal related technologies
Prior experience supporting and configuring bio medical device interfacing to documentation systems
Ability to independently problem solve Desktop issues
Prior experience supporting clinical end users in a rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer system
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
4+ years desktop support experience in a networked business environment
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
General knowledge of Tablets and Phone devices
Working knowledge of PACS (picture archiving and communication system) software and DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) protocol.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Windows OS, and MAC OS
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and evenings

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting end users in the Clinical environment
Prior experience supporting Biomedical Device Integration
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other healthcare related field with course work in systems analysis and development
