Business Reporting Analyst Jobs

**IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD RESIDE IN THE GREENVILLE, SC AREA **

BDV Solutions, LLC ("BDV") is the largest independent third-party provider of EB-3 employee sponsor consulting and case management services in the U.S., focusing on unskilled (entry-level) labor solutions for U.S. businesses. BDV works with the top immigration law firms to assist non-immigrant visa holders to adjust their visa status in the U.S. from an eligible non-immigrant visa to EB-3 permanent residency Green Card and foreign nationals living outside of the U.S. through Consulate Process. This position will also support other lines of business as we continue to grow and expand.

The Business Data Analyst will develop, maintain, and enhance systems used in business reporting across all business sectors. This individual will work closely with data engineers, the IT administrator, and various department heads to understand the systems in place, reporting requirements, and the company’s software in place for these business processes.

• Develop insightful and compelling summary reporting and dashboards for management and other internal and external users.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance business reporting initiatives and processes.
• Gain and develop an understanding of all software used in the reporting process.
• Maintain documentation of all implementations and enhancements made to the system as well as coordinate the correction of bugs and fixes required.
• Assist with developing and implementing technology-related projects, including the rollout of new systems and the integration of new technologies.
• Monitor business reporting performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain documented procedures for routine responsibilities.
• Gather and aggregate complex data from multiple data sources.
• Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting tied to both financial and non-financial reporting.

*** Must attend mandatory on-site training upon hire for the first 2-3 weeks at our home office in Greenville, SC. The role is fully remote, with quarterly travel required thereafter. Candidates OUTSIDE of the local Greenville-Spartanburg area will not be considered. ***

Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and very strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Data Visualization/business intelligence (BI) tools (AWS Quicksight, Mode Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, Google Analytics).
• Working knowledge of data modeling tools (DBT, Dataform, Hightouch, Airbyte).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis (including window functions, stored procedures, and materialized views).

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with AWS Quicksight, AWS Athena, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda
• Experience with Mixpanel
