Job Description
Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking an experienced Business Program Manager to lead our data center technical staffing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative talent sourcing strategies, enhancing existing talent pipelines, leveraging diverse hiring channels, and proposing advanced talent development programs. This role will involve close collaboration with Global Talent Acquisition Partners to effectively integrate with existing programs and resources.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage data analytics to assess the effectiveness of our hiring and development strategies, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Utilize a variety of diverse hiring channels to broaden our talent pool and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity within the technical teams.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of data center operations and the specific technical skills required to optimize performance.
  • Work with team leaders to identify skill gaps, and devise recruitment or training solutions to address them.
  • Develop forward-thinking talent development programs that align with industry trends and our company’s strategic goals.
  • Lead the creation and execution of strategic plans for sourcing and attracting top-tier technical talent for our data centers, utilizing new and existing talent sources.
  • Analyze and optimize existing talent pipelines, implementing changes where necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with our Global Talent Acquisition Partners to seamlessly integrate new and existing talent initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring that new staffing and talent development strategies are smoothly and successfully implemented.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
  • 5+ years of experience implementing successful talent sourcing and development strategies.
  • Understanding of diverse hiring practices and the ability to implement these effectively.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on talent acquisition and development in technical fields.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 4+ years experience in global datacenter operations or manufacturing
  • Planning and time management skills, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines and be able to prioritize work accordingly.
  • Embraces continuous improvement and new ways of doing things.
Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 - $213,200 per year.
