Job Description
GCyber is hiring a Business Process Engineer to provide process engineering support to include documenting, analyzing, improving, and overseeing processes for a high visibility Executive Branch customer.


As The Business Process Engineer, You Will
  • Develop and implement optimized IT service management and cybersecurity process workflows, diagrams, and flowcharts including but not limited to:
  • Risk assessment
  • Evaluate the effects of process changes and conduct post-implementation reviews.
  • Digital forensics processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including management, project teams, and operational staff to embed process changes.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, working with stakeholders from across the organization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving business process improvements.
  • Change management
  • Application support
  • Support coordination of user engagement campaigns to promote adoption of Atlassian tools throughout the organization
  • Monitor performance and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the business process.
  • Design and document business processes aimed at increasing efficiency and ultimately automating workflows (e.g., travel requests, service requests, etc.)
  • Work with Atlassian Developer to design and implement automation processes for Application Catalogs and workflows between applications
  • Document processes and communicate their impact to relevant parties.


Minimum Qualifications And Experience


  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Atlassian applications including JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • BA/BS in related field
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
  • 5+ years of experience including proven experience in a similar role supporting the Federal Government
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping.
