Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Power BI and SQL to join our dynamic team. As a BI Developer, you will collaborate closely with Data Architects and ETL engineers to build data delivery solutions using Power BI. Your primary focus will be on creating audit reports within MarkLogic, simplifying data, and delivering actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role also involves using SQL to identify and resolve data-related challenges, ensuring scalable reporting solutions are developed. Responsibilities:

  • Employ SQL queries to identify and resolve data issues and challenges, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Utilize Power BI to create audit reports, condensing and auditing data within the MarkLogic platform.
  • Develop and design comprehensive reports in Power BI to meet business needs and provide valuable insights.
  • Work collaboratively with Data Architects and ETL engineers to design and develop data delivery solutions utilizing Power BI.


Example Projects:

  1. Support auditing on the MarkLogic platform, utilizing Power BI to identify historical changes, owners, and approvers of data in each KM Case.
  2. Contribute to process improvement by simplifying data analysis and reporting procedures using Power BI.


MUST HAVE Skillsets:

  1. Proven experience in preparing and compiling data sets using SQL queries and translating business requirements into reporting/visualizations in Power BI.
  2. Strong background in writing SQL queries to compile, prepare, test, and validate data before building Power BI reports.
  3. At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field.


Nice to Have Skillsets:

  1. Familiarity with MarkLogic Database.
  2. Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, data mining, and data optimization.
  3. Master's in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
