Job Description
Join JP Morgan and be apart of a dynamic team. The Business Analytics Senior Associate will join a Data Analytics team that manage strategy and operational insights for Commercial Bank's Global Services function. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various senior stakeholders. You will learn core business processes and develop people, process, and technology components required to support a best-in-class program. You will also lead development of C-suite/ Executive presentations and targeted analytics that help inform the health of the business.


Job Responsibilities


  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Define, design, and manage high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above
  • Develop strong partnerships with tech, application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement e.g. advanced analytics, cloud adoption etc.
  • Partner with senior leaders in advancing business analytics agenda to deliver in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.
  • Define, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of a global operations program
  • Manage a complex analytics book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline


Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership ability
  • Experience in Big Data/ Cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with various analytical and business intelligence tools
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in the use of data to solve complex business problems, leveraging toolsets such as: Qlik Sense, Tableau, Python, R, SQL
  • 5+ years of total experience within Analytics, MIS, Operations Research and/or Management Consulting roles. Financial Services experience is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field; advanced study a plus
